Notes: Ukulele Loki popped through the studio door, "Before on time," as Jeff put it! 9:59 a.m. by the clock. One minute early! Possibly a New Year's resolution? Jefferson held a sketchy penciled play list and just after Johnny Cash had the three next traks in the players. The selections wore smoothly till Duane Eddy... clink, clink, clink. 10:23 a.m. brought a resurrection of the Spaghetti Western set which concluded with the hot trak, "Latina," by Jim Waller And The Deltas. Sorry, nothing available about this artist.

Jeff constructed a nice Folk ala World set with some of my favorites... Fahey, Sandy Bull and Oakley Hall. The phone lit up. I played a few traks by my new favorites, The Dexateens, and Jeff countered with The Band and Bob Dylan. The show went as fast as Uncle Jeff's heart was beating... prob 100 beats per minute. Watch out for the explosion!

The Trash Lunch Hour took over and Jeff, Loki and I sat conversing and listening to Johnny's show. Something seemed different to me. I guess it's a new year and new things are on the mind. The conference ended and we went onward. A sunny, warm winter patio lunch at Mustard's Last Stand hit the spot. Sun and food... go away icy cold winter despair!

Conditions on the road to the city were a bit choppy with gusty wind wisps of white and trucks in the ditch near the nuclear factory of lies. I barely noticed cause my old truck drove itself while mp3s rattled my mind and coffee entered the system. Smile.

Plan to see Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter open for Sparklehorse on February 17th at the Gothic Theathre. Show presented by Live Nation & Radio 1190.

Due to technical difficulties the show can only be downloaded as 2 one hour mp3s. Darn those frickin' recorder malfunctions.
