Notes: We returned to arid conditions following last week's studio flood. The carpets actually looked clean. Vagabond Danny added critical commentary and brought lots of new material including some rare Dave Alvin which converted Uncle Jeff into a fan. (Jeff admitted it on the air) Danny and Uncle Jeff were fresh out of the Hank III show and had nothing but good comments... well, the show drew a scary mix of hippies, bikers, punks and hip-hop types... the tattoo check at the door was not optional. Hank's performance was top notch and everyone did get along. Danny also attended the recent Sonic Youth concert and reported that they are on top of their game, the Gothic Theatre sound was clean and the show was sold out.

Thanks to Ted for yet another CD of music from his archive. Who is Ted? We have no idea. He is expert at laying low.

We're looking forward to some local shows including Magnolia Electric Company, Mud Honey (recommended by webmaster Jay) and Richmond Fontaine. More info as available.

"Retirement, the best, leanest years of your life," predicts Uncle Jeff. Stay tuned for more public service announcements by your favorite bearded DJ.

"Son Of Saguaro" by the The Hacienda Brothers was today's hot trak.

Adios.
