Notes: | I'd
just got back form Chicago and was fighting a little bit of "back
to reality" syndrome, but documenting the show is clockwork and I
was ready to get back to it. During my trip I was able to visit my favorite
record store, Val's Halla,
and had picked up the new Califone CD. I'd also been listening to Wilco's,
"A Ghost Is Born." When traveling I load the tunes on an mp3
player and listen to them over and over. I enjoy the music while analyzing
the lyrics. This trip I mainly listened to Wilco, Drive By Truckers and
the Warlocks... and yeap I'm the gray haired guy in the airport shakin'
his head to the beat as I listen thru headphones. All I need is some Grecian
Formula and a skateboard to pass for 16. By the way I highly recommend
the new Wilco CD which will make many a favorites list in 2004. |
