Notes: | Jeff started off the Easter
show with a cut from the CD Shuffle Town which had just come in the mail
the previous day. Shuffle Town is a bunch of 40's Western Swing brought
together on a single CD by England's Westside Recording. Unfortunately their
web site is not functioning or there'd be a link. Loki arrived a few minutes
late, but did have a note from his clergymen. He promptly got into the headphones...
right on top of his well worn straw hat. His spring enthusiasm was apparent
and brought a smile to Uncle Jeff who, no doubt, was tired of doing the
show solo for about a month. Besides Shuffle Town Uncle Jeff had received
a compilation disc from anonymous "Ted" which contained various
persuasions of honky tonk, surf, swing and the barstool. The third highlight
of the show, surf CD Avalon, by Slacktone, commanded a number of listener
calls. Background music by The Shadows. Get your piggy bank out next week for the annual Spring Marathon (April 24-May 2). |
