Notes: | Rants of "Free speech
reins supreme" and "No vote = no right to whine" were perhaps
the result of the continuous bombardment of this week's election ads perpetrated
upon Uncle Jeff and Agent Loki. It was clear the hairs were standing up
straight and fostered an abundance of political overtones early in tonight's
show. "First it was commies, now it's Arabs... we like it more when
it's aliens". (from outer space) The spanish guitar half of the song "Oh Well" by Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) is one of Jeff's favorite instrumentals. There was a theme here but it got lost... Uncle Jeff got a fancy new Spanish guitar made in Paracho, Mexico. Gene Clark's "Spanish Guitar" followed. Gene was one of the original Byrds, but quit because he hated the touring... he wouldn't fly, so took the bus instead. Jeff attempted a ukulele duet with Johnny Cash, which prompted Loki to play some circus music. This show was like a yeast culture... we start out right and then just let it grow. Uncle Jeff's mouth fell open when Loki insisted that a Herb Albert ban be implemented immediately. No post show activities... we all went home asap. |
